Work tasks will generally involve site access and staging; installation and removal of temporary erosion and sediment controls; excavation and grading to construct floodplain benches along an unnamed tributary to keeler bay (generally up to 25 feet wide) to improve floodplain access; instream excavation and shaping; installation of approximately four stone grade control structures to stabilize existing headcuts and tie into existing stream grade; backfilling and stabilization of eroding headcut areas with stone; protection of existing underground utilities including a septic force main; hauling, placement, and grading of excavated materials; stream channel stabilization and restoration; site stabilization including seeding, mulching, erosion control matting, and final grading; and restoration of pre-construction or improved conditions of all disturbed areas (see attachment a). Instream structures and grading may require field adjustments at the time of construction to reflect existing conditions.
