The meeting addressed several key areas including the Engineer's Report with updates on the Long Term Control Plan and the Birkbeck Street Reservoir. Financial matters included approving December paid invoices and current invoices for the Water and Sewer Divisions, as well as Sandy Run invoices. The Sewer Division reported excellent BOD and TSS removal rates and the electronic filing of DMRs. The Water Division discussed a service line leak, EDF Renewal Energy's tower site lease, and the final design documents for the Birkbeck Street Reservoir. The Authority also approved payment of Borton/Lawson invoices and consented to the assignment of a lien to the Borough of Freeland. The UL Tower Site lease transfer from One Direction to Unity Leasing LLC was approved. Permission was granted to purchase a new hard drive for treatment plant backup. The Union contract has been approved and will be ready for signing at the February meeting.
