This Joint Land Use Study Background Report for Fort Indiantown Gap was prepared with financial support from the Office of Economic Adjustment, Department of Defense. Its goal is to protect the viability of current and future training operations while guiding community growth, sustaining environmental and economic health, and protecting public health, safety, and welfare. The study's objectives include understanding compatibility issues, encouraging collaborative land use and resource planning, and providing actionable tools and procedures for implementation.
