Work includes the renovation and expansion of an existing 2-story mixed-use building (25,000 SF) with a non-separated occupancy and no planned changes to the occupancy. The new addition (17,000 SF) will be 2-stories, steel construction, built to the same construction classification as the existing building. Scope of interior upgrades, across the two floors of the existing building, as well as within the new addition to the east of the existing building, include: commercial kitchen space, food storage (dry, refigerated, frozen), administrative functions, office, and assembly use. Renovation of the existing building will be defined as a level 2 alternation in accordance with iebc. Improvements to the site include: bioretention, landscaping, surface parking and a loading dock.
