The board discussed the financial impact of the government shutdown on the ECHA. Updates were provided on the installation of handicap automatic door openers at the Barnett Building and the ongoing elevator issues. The placement of recycle bins in Corry Public Housing buildings was noted. The board was informed that roof bids for the Salsbury Building would be ready for review and approval at the March meeting, and specifications are being prepared for fire alarm replacements at Center Place Apartments. The completion of exterior door and storm door replacements at Pleasant Manor was announced. The board also received updates on the school tax-exempt status of certain properties and the approval of the 2018 CDBG application for the City of Corry. Construction work on the Storm Sewer replacement on South Center Street is scheduled to be completed by May 1. Auditors conducted preliminary work for the 2018 audit in December 2018 and will return in March 2019. A Management and Occupancy Review for South Hills was also conducted in December. The loan payment for the purchase of South Hills is expected to be complete in approximately 10 years.
