The council discussed the awarding of a mandate for the replacement of the Georges Picard culvert, including the review of bid results. Additionally, the council approved a service offer for professional site supervision related to the reconstruction of the culvert on Rue Georges.

The council authorized the destruction of archives and requested authorization from Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec to eliminate source inactive documents. The council approved the signing of an occupancy permission for a former railway right-of-way and committed to implementing a fire risk coverage plan, seeking a premium reduction from the Mutuelle des Municipalités du Québec. Additionally, the council approved budgetary provisions for the Municipal Housing Office, extended the general manager's employment contract, appointed representatives to the Municipal Housing Office committee, and provided a sponsorship for a school merits gala. Finally, the council adopted regulations concerning taxation rates and tariffs for municipal services, and a subsidy program to promote construction and renovation.

The council meeting focused on the presentation and adoption of the 2026 budget and the 2026-2028 capital expenditure program. A notice of motion was given for by-law 880 concerning 2026 taxation rates for property tax, water supply, waste collection, and other municipal services, and the project for this by-law was formally deposited.

The council authorized a public call for tenders for the sale of land located on Gauley Street. Additionally, the council approved a road blockade request for the Knights of Columbus to be held at the intersection of Angus North and Saint-Pierre streets.

The council discussed and adopted several regulations, including an amendment to the general regulation and the first drafts of regulations modifying the urban planning and zoning plans to accommodate high-density residential areas. A public consultation was scheduled for these regulations. Additionally, the council established the registry date for a specific regulation and approved the pricing structure for permits for the outdoor sale of seasonal products.
