The annual landowners' meeting included the election of supervisors, review of the treasurer's report and audit, engineer's report, discussion of BMAP public education and outreach, and a general superintendent's report. The board of supervisors' meeting agenda included the election of officers, approval of the treasurer's report and receipt of the audit, adoption of budget resolutions, consideration of depository approval and authorized signatories, and discussion of district operations and delinquent assessments.

The agenda included items such as approving the legal notice of the meeting, election procedures, appointment of a chairman and secretary, roll call of landowners, supervisor election, treasurer's report and audit, engineer's report, BMAP public education and outreach, general superintendent's report, scheduling the next annual landowners' and board of supervisors' meetings. The board also discussed the treasurer's report, budget allocations, approval of depository, engineer's report, district operations, and delinquent assessments. Additionally, there was discussion regarding FPL utility and access agreements, canal agreements with Hendry County, and legislative changes relating to Special Districts. The board also ratified actions, discussed conflicts of interest, and considered utilizing a local accountant for financial services.

The resolution includes the adoption of the District Budget and Non-Ad Valorem Assessment Roll, as well as the levying of non-ad valorem assessments for the District. The proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2016/2017 was adopted, and the District's non-ad valorem special assessments were levied in accordance with the adopted budget. The budget includes revenues from maintenance taxes, interest, and other sources, and expenditures for general government administration, field operations, capital outlay, and contingency.
