Section 1 - substation assembly labor: Assembly and installation of a new 69/12.5 kV distribution substation utilizing owner-furnished major equipment and materials. The work includes, but is not limited to: Placement of concrete foundations and containment. Assembly and erection of substation steel structures. Installation of equipment support structures and associated hardware. Installation of bus supports and related structural components. Placement and installation of owner-furnished substation equipment. Installation of conduit and grounding system components. Associated cleanup and restoration related to the work. Section 3--substation fencing labor: installation of the substation security fence system, including but not limited to: Installation of fence posts and framework. Installation of chain-link fence fabric and associated materials. Installation of gates and gate hardware. Associated cleanup and restoration related to the work. Section 4--substation steel procurement: The work generally consists of furnishing, fabricating, galvanizing, and delivering substation structural steel and associated hardware for a new 69/12.5 kV distribution substation in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents provided by the District. Materials may include, but are not limited to: Substation steel structures. Equipment support structures. Bus support structures. Structural members, bracing, and connection components. Anchor bolts and associated hardware. Materials shall be delivered FOB Job Site to the Litchfield Substation project location.
