Board meetings and strategic plans from Coquitlam
The council passed a resolution in accordance with the Community Charter to close the meeting to the public. Additionally, the Council reviewed a development application for 965 Delestre Avenue, focusing on neighborhood impacts and parking, and approved the disbursement of the Spirit of Coquitlam Grant for the 2026 spring intake. Several bylaws were also addressed, including the final adoption of annual tax rates and fire prevention amendments.
The Council-in-Committee reviewed a status update on parks and facilities capital construction projects, including feedback on park facilities, usage of athletic fields, and parking improvements.
