The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting included updates from TAC members on various climate-related initiatives, including efforts by the CDPH, CNRA, OES, and Sonoma Water. The 2025 ICARP priorities, guided by the Technical Advisory Council, focus on cultivating trust and empowering communities by deepening partnerships with CA Native American Tribes, fostering relationships with grantees and vulnerable communities, and strengthening equitable grant processes. It aims to showcase the impact of climate adaptation investments through tailored outreach, highlight local success stories, and track progress with robust data. The plan also expands localized data, research, and tools to guide local governments and supports innovative adaptation and resilience actions, prioritizing investments in vulnerable communities and fostering diverse partnerships.

The document outlines priorities including strengthening protections for climate vulnerable communities, bolstering public health and safety against increasing climate risks, building a climate resilient economy, accelerating nature-based climate solutions, making decisions based on climate science, and fostering partnerships and collaborations to leverage resources.
