The permitted interaction group on cesspools and sanitation presented deliberation and decision-making on findings and recommendations, focusing on the Wastewater division and sewer line connections. The consultant is defining the sewer service area, and the intent is that anyone within the sewer service area must connect under the current AOC.

The commission reviewed an application for a new restaurant and drive-thru with wall signs at the Nalo Marketplace, focusing on revisions to address concerns about compliance with facility design and the master sign plan. Discussions included the design elements, the absence of outdoor seating due to safety concerns related to a growing homeless population, and the size of the proposed signs in relation to existing regulations and variances for the marketplace.
