This strategic plan outlines a vision for an equitable, accessible, innovative, nimble, and aligned higher education ecosystem in Illinois designed to ensure individuals, families, and communities thrive. Over the next ten years, the plan focuses on three core priority areas: increasing postsecondary credential and degree attainment to drive the state's economy, closing equity gaps within the higher education system, and improving affordability, increasing access, and managing costs. The strategies aim to develop talent, address disparities, and ensure financial sustainability and accessibility in higher education.
