The City Commission discussed various community events including Autism Awareness Day, local charity events like the Run 4 Beigel, and various youth and academic achievements within the community. The commission also authorized placing a resolution on a future agenda regarding business dealings with Russia. Scholarship awards were presented to several students. The commission approved Ordinance 2022-006 regarding the vacation and abandonment of a drainage easement and approved Resolution 2022-018 to enter into a grant agreement with Florida Communities Trust for grant funding. Additionally, updates were provided by the Broward Sheriff's Office, the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department, and the City Manager's office.
