The 2021-2024 Strategic Plan for Southern Union State Community College focuses on four key goals: 1. Enhancing the overall quality of the student experience by expanding facilities, implementing state-of-the-art technologies, and improving customer service; 2. Providing attainable, stackable degree pathways that meet local and regional workforce needs through concurrent enrollment programs, short certificate programs, and work-based learning experiences; 3. Promoting educational equity by increasing student support services, improving retention and completion rates for underserved students, and reducing the digital divide; and 4. Expanding relationships with communities, businesses, and industries to better respond to the changing needs of students and the region. The plan aims to establish SUSCC as the best choice for meeting the diverse needs of all stakeholders by providing accessible, relevant, and responsive educational programs.
