The board reviewed and evaluated bids for the construction of the new E-911 Center. Three bids were considered, and the commissioners unanimously approved the selection of the lowest bidder, Charles E. Lewis Construction Co., Inc., for the project at a total cost of $3,995,303.00.

The board approved FY 2026 budget amendments for employee retention bonuses and fire truck procurement. Key actions included approving the low bid for a new fire department brush truck, authorizing the surplus of road department equipment, and selecting a contractor for paving Hickory Lane.
