The plan seeks to enhance livability by addressing housing needs, promoting inclusive engagement, preserving environmental and recreational spaces, and strengthening the downtown core, all while leveraging the town's historic character, arts community, and natural attractions to drive economic development and tourism.

The agenda includes presentations on the Community and Economic Development Strategic Plan and the Virginia Housing initiative. Action items involve the review and approval of various town department reports, a request for street closures to accommodate a car show, and an appeal regarding a decision made by the Architectural Review Board.
