The strategic plan is to serve as a catalyst for at-risk youth in Idaho by enhancing their knowledge, interest, and confidence in STEM, preparing them for technology-driven jobs. The plan focuses on providing innovative learning experiences, fostering a growth mindset, increasing awareness of STEM career fields, and enhancing student capacity in goal setting, teamwork, and perseverance. It also aims to expose youth to technological environments and positive role models on military bases, nurture collaboration, and build community loyalty through hands-on instruction aligned with national standards.

The Prevention Plan of Action 2.0 outlines the Department of Defense's strategic approach to prevent self-directed harm and prohibited abuse or harm, including sexual assault, harassment, retaliation, suicide, domestic abuse, and child abuse. It emphasizes integrated primary prevention by addressing shared risk and protective factors, aligning prevention activities, and promoting safe and healthy climates across the military community. The plan builds on past work, incorporates improvements, aligns with relevant policies, and addresses recommendations from the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military.
