The Board discussed and adopted the Emergency Safety Interventions Policy and the Conduct and Discipline Policy, which incorporates the Safe and Civil School Policy. Following a closed session, the Board approved an increase in director compensation. The 2016-2017 final budget and the 2017-2018 budget were both reviewed and approved. The Director's report covered volunteerism goals, kindergarten enrollment, student achievement metrics including DIBELS and end-of-year assessments, the success of the Million Minutes Reading Program, and ongoing facility improvements. Finally, the Board accepted the monthly financial report.
