The board conducted its annual organizational meeting, which included the election of board officers and the establishment of the meeting schedule for the 2024/2025 academic year. The meeting featured a presentation on the timeline for a potential General Obligation Bond and the approval of the 2023-24 First Interim Budget Report. The board discussed plans for installing perimeter fencing at various school sites and authorized increases for student and adult meal prices. Other actions included the approval of several course name changes and various items on the consent calendar, such as field trips, personnel reports, and contracts.
