Belleville Area Special Services Cooperative Executive Board Meeting
The Executive Board Meeting included the presentation and discussion of the BASSC Monthly Budget Report for November 2025. The board entered and exited a brief closed session to discuss personnel issues, including employment, compensation, discipline, performance of specific employees, and/or pending litigation. Key personnel actions approved included granting FMLA requests, accepting multiple resignations from Paraprofessional positions across various programs (SAP, Autism, Pathways), and approving the employment of several new Paraprofessionals to fill resulting vacancies. The board also discussed required changes to the Articles of Joint Agreement, received an update on PALS House future needs, approved updates/changes to the BASSC Board Policy, received program updates, and reviewed the FY26 IDEA Excess Cost worksheet and the Intent to Purchase Services Survey timeline.
