Key objectives include conducting a 5-year update to the Thoroughfare Plan, preserving right-of-way for future development, guiding development plans, and prioritizing recommendations. The plan emphasizes improving safety through Vision Zero initiatives, fostering neighborhood coordination, enhancing connectivity, and providing multi-modal transportation options. It also aims to position the city for funding opportunities and develop a robust fiscal plan.

This document outlines the objectives and methodology for the Oak Gateway Area Plan through a community workshop. The plan aims to define a vision for the area by identifying investments to improve safety and walkability, and prioritizing developments that strengthen the community. Key focus areas include analyzing existing conditions, evaluating alternative futures, and developing a strategic implementation plan based on community input regarding assets, concerns, economic development, neighborhood stabilization, transportation, parks, and housing.

This Capital Improvement Program (CIP) outlines the City of Denton's five-year plan for infrastructure and equipment funding.
