The Town Commission reviewed proposals for the Residential & Commercial Solid Waste, Recycling project. Advanced Disposal and Ideal Refuse Savings provided cost proposals. The Town Commission voted to award the bid to Ideal Refuse.

The Town Commission voted to authorize the Town Manager to enter competitive negotiations with AAA Asphalt for Project Number 19-02, Resurfacing and Milling Services.

The Town Commission voted against the recommendation of the Purchasing Review Committee and awarded the contract to Southern Majestic Homes for $9,600 in accordance with Town Code Art. 5 Div. 3 Section 2-159 (1)(g) & Section 2-159 (2)(b).

The meeting focused on establishing the Visioning Committee, including the approval of Resolution 24-29 which defines the committee's operations. The committee elected a Chair and Vice-Chair. A community engagement timeline was presented, and discussions ensued regarding the Town's mission, vision, and goals, drawing comparisons with other municipalities. The committee also discussed Dundee's identity and potential future projects, such as a community garden and redevelopment of blighted areas. The next meeting date was set for November 22nd.

Consultants from Ayres Associates and Robert A. Stevens and Associates presented their approaches to community engagement, goal setting, and data analysis for the visioning process. Discussions focused on the future direction of Dundee and the scheduling of the committee's next meeting.
