The resolution addresses the terms and conditions of employment for employees represented by the Hawthorne Municipal Employee Association - Part-Time (HMEA-PT). It acknowledges the increase in California's minimum wage to $16.90 per hour effective January 1, 2026, and the city's intention to comply with these regulations. The resolution approves an amended salary schedule for HMEA-PT, which will be incorporated into the HMEA-PT Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027.
