The board discussed holding executive sessions to receive legal advice regarding board member responsibilities, district policies, and compliance with the Colorado Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act. Additionally, the board planned to enter into an executive session to determine strategies and instruct negotiators regarding an Intergovernmental Agreement and a purchase and sale agreement for the Field of Dreams property with the Town of Bennett.

The board reviewed director and principal reports regarding network infrastructure, HVAC and facility maintenance, CTE programs, transportation logistics, and student enrollment updates. Key business items included the approval of new hires, resignations, and staff lateral moves. The board also approved policies regarding criminal history records and instructional materials, a bus maintenance contract, renewal of non-certified staffing contracts, and the denial of re-enrollment for certain out-of-district students. Additionally, the board adopted a new science curriculum from McGraw Hill, approved staff raise recommendations, and discussed transportation policy updates.

The meeting included an overview of School Accountability Committee meetings, a presentation of the 2022-2023 school district budget, and a review of instructional coaching and student data within the district.

The committee meeting focused on providing an overview of School Accountability Committee meetings across elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school levels. Additionally, the committee discussed the district science adoption process and established dates for future committee meetings.

Business items included the approval of CASB policies, the 2026/2027 salary schedule, renewal of certified staffing contracts, the 2026/2027 athletic handbook, and the disposition of property. Furthermore, the Board approved the retention of services for polling related to a bond measure and the engagement of consultants for community outreach.
