The Administrative Board discussed the consideration of promotions in academic rank for teaching faculty. It was agreed to postpone these considerations due to the current budgetary situation facing the university and the country. It was established that once the budgetary situation improves, the recommendations for promotions submitted by the Dean, effective as of July 1, 2009, will be given priority over new cases submitted starting in 2010.
