City of Dryden Sustainable Waterfront Development Plan
This report details the City of Dryden's Sustainable Waterfront Development Plan, a strategy for developing a significant 38-acre waterfront property on Wabigoon Lake. The plan is organized into three levels of development: public infrastructure, local and regional attractions, and destination attractions, implemented through a multi-phased approach. Key focus areas include establishing an Outdoor Education Centre, enhancing public amenities like a marina and festival park, and introducing commercial and residential developments such as a restaurant, museum, hotel & spa, and mixed-use housing. The overarching vision is to transform the waterfront into a year-round destination, fostering economic growth, improving quality of life, and showcasing sustainable community development.
