There was also a discussion regarding the extension of board member terms, with Greg Houk agreeing to stay on for another year. The board was updated on the renewals for the 2026 Privilege Tax Year and informed that Red Jasper Beer Garden is up for sale, requiring any future permit applications for that location to undergo a new permit process.

The meeting included a recommendation for Road Superintendent to fulfill the term until August 31, 2026, with consideration of Donald Adams' application. Resolutions were passed to appoint members to the Sevier County Beer Board, the Sevier County Industrial Development Board, the Sevier County Public Building Authority, and the Sevier County Health, Education, and Housing Facilities Board. A proclamation was approved to request the General Assembly to support legislation including funding for SB 1080-HB 649. The final agenda for the Board of Commissioners was also accepted.

The committee addressed amending the county's policy to apply restricted funds first in all county funds, aligning with GASB guidance and federal tax compliance requirements. They authorized the issuance, sale, and payment of general obligation interfund capital outlay notes not to exceed $7,400,000 to fund capital projects, including the Kodak Library portion, Senior Center renovations, and contributions to the new Courts Building. The committee also authorized the prepayment of certain outstanding debt obligations to simplify the county's debt structure and avoid future interest costs. A donation of $100,000 was approved for Sevier County Food Ministries to support their services.
