The Pierre School Board convened a special meeting to discuss and act on time-sensitive matters. After a thorough analysis of the proposals, the board approved the bid from Forell Limousine and Bus Service, citing it as the lowest cost option. The approved bid included a per-mile charge of $3.59, a minimum trip mileage of 300 miles, and other specified costs for daily shuttles, after-hours service, and driver layovers.

The Pierre School Board held a regular meeting where they discussed various topics, including the Superintendent's comments on the progress of building and grounds projects, upcoming dates for the school year, and the administration of the Oath of Office to board members.
