The workshop included a presentation and discussion regarding the possible creation of a PK-5 intervention program for social-emotional and behavioral skill development. There was also a presentation on upcoming CDS FAPE requirements, including current early education data, projections, and planning for the next few years. Additionally, the results of the School Committee's Self-Evaluation Survey were reviewed and discussed.

The meeting included a presentation by students from Narragansett Elementary School's Writing and Drawing Club. Lola Vance provided updates on athletic events, homecoming, NWEA testing, and cultural celebrations at the high school. Superintendent Perry reviewed the State of the Schools report, focusing on Student Services, and discussed the November 4th referendum, the Educator Pre-Apprentice program, and the end of subsidies for modular classrooms. The committee discussed capital projects, FY24 and FY25 Audits. Policy JIH was approved, and policies JJB, JJE, and JKAA were reviewed for the first reading. The committee entered an executive session to consider a sabbatical request, which was subsequently approved.

The Gorham School Department held a special meeting where they reviewed administrative reports, including principal and director comments, student presentations on Community Circles from Great Falls, reports on the opening of school, and updates on summer facilities work. The committee discussed the State of the Schools report, subcommittees, and the 2025-2026 meeting schedule. They also considered and acted on the proposed Superintendent's 2025-2026 goals, the FY27 budget timeline, and the second reading for the School Board SEL-Evaluation Policy (BAA). Additionally, they reviewed the Questioning and Searches of Students Policy (JIH) for the first reading and considered the appointment of a delegate to the MSBA Delegate Assembly.

The Gorham School Department held a special meeting to discuss several key topics. The Anti-Racism & Equity Committee's work for the 2024-2025 school year was reviewed. The School Committee self-evaluation process and timeline were discussed. MSBA resolutions were reviewed to inform the Delegate Assembly. An initial discussion was held regarding setting the FY 27 budget development target.

The Gorham School Department held a special meeting to discuss several action items. Professional personnel nominations were reviewed and approved, including positions for Board Certified Behavior Analysts and teachers. The committee also considered and approved bid proposals for the HS modular work, awarding the bid to Great Falls Construction. Additionally, a bid for a security system to align with the HS modular project was approved, with Allied Security being awarded the bid. The Committee Chair announced her resignation, effective at the conclusion of the meeting.
