Warwick Township Community & Economic Development Strategy
The Warwick Community and Economic Development Strategy outlines a roadmap for the growth and strengthening of Warwick Township's community and local economy. Driven by opportunities arising from the expansion of the Waste Management Twin Creeks Landfill, the strategy aims to foster a more sustainable community, enhance economic viability, rebuild Watford's downtown core, and ensure residents can live and work within the Township. It is built upon four interconnected strategies: Retaining and Attracting Residents, Reviving the Downtown, Cultivating Business and Industry, and Maximizing Benefits Derived From Infrastructure. The long-term vision is to establish Warwick as a successful, growing rural community recognized for sustainable practices, planned streetscapes, diverse housing, job creation, and a revitalized downtown.
