BHSAC Project Review Committee and Full Council Project Review Committee and Full Council Meeting
The committee reviewed several healthcare facility capital projects. Key actions included the approval of renovations for Strong Memorial Hospital to create single rooms for pediatric and adolescent populations, retroactive approval for Hillside Children's Center's new cottage construction and renovations, an increase in inpatient psychiatric bed capacity at Maimonides Medical Center, and alterations for patient safety at Bellevue Hospital Center. Additionally, the committee approved plumbing infrastructure upgrades for St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center and a change of sponsor for Rockland Independent Living Center (Bridges) regarding VCS Inc. Finally, the committee discussed and reviewed the application for All Health Diagnostic and Treatment Center to become an Oasis provider for outpatient substance use services.
