Village of Northfield Architectural Commission Architectural Commission Meeting
The Architectural Commission discussed and approved a request for a sign variation at 7 Happ Road. The proposal involved replacing an existing scoreboard at Field 1 with a larger 252 square-foot scoreboard. The petitioners explained that the larger size was necessary for a varsity-designated field, noting that a similar-sized scoreboard had previously been in use at that location before construction. The Commission reviewed the technical specifications of the turf and the scale of the sign relative to other stadium facilities before granting the approval.
