The board meeting primarily focused on a financial presentation regarding the Type A financials through May 2026. The Assistant Director of Finance detailed the revenue, expenditure, and fund balances for the Seawall fund, the Seawall CIP fund, the arena fund, and the arena CIP fund. Additionally, there was a discussion regarding a transfer to visitor facilities and the need for clearer labeling of debt service transfers in future financial reports.

The City Council meeting focused on the City Manager's update regarding the FY27 budget development process. Key topics included the results of the community budget survey, which prioritized public safety, street maintenance, and animal care services, as well as the input gathered from town hall meetings. The council discussed future budget workshops, the inclusion of code enforcement and sidewalk repair funding in the upcoming budget, and strategies for improving community engagement and attendance at future budget input sessions.

The committee reviewed and approved the Quarterly Investment Report, discussed the Investment Policy Certification and the status of investment policies for city-associated corporations, and received updates regarding the broker/dealer process and the Investment Advisor RFQ process.

The Committee reviewed the Quarterly Investment Report, received a briefing on BOKF escrow investment changes, and heard a market update from Hilltop Securities Asset Management, LLC.

The Investment Committee reviewed and approved the Quarterly Investment Report for the period ending September 30, 2019. Discussions included the presentation of investment policies and strategies for the North Padre Island Development Corporation, the Corpus Christi Community Improvement Corporation, and the Corpus Christi Housing Finance Corporation. The committee also received a market update, discussed the sale of common stock received through unclaimed property, and reviewed a list of approved institutional brokers.
