The Faculty Senate meeting covered several key administrative and academic updates, including reports from the Chancellor and Interim Provost on the strategic transformation plan, campus master plan, enrollment trends, and recent accreditation outcomes. Discussions also addressed the implementation of premium tuition, the status of ongoing executive searches, and the university's application for Carnegie classification. The meeting included committee reports regarding general education transformation and teaching modality, as well as a deliberation on the potential reinstitution of the Academic Affairs Advisory Committee.

The town hall discussed the Strategic Transformation, which started September 23rd of last year, and how it is an opportunity to reposition the university for the future. The synthesis of information, bringing together the input, feedback, ideas, concerns, and thoughts from the community, and pairing that with the market analysis that was performed and the course economics, was presented. High level themes across all of the constituent groups, including marketing, experiential learning, community outreach and partnerships, and the student experience, were addressed.
