The City Council meeting addressed multiple key initiatives, including the approval of a public works facilities optimization consulting services study and the acceptance of a donation from the St. Peter Girls Fastpitch Softball Association for new scoreboards at Jefferson Park. The City Council conducted a regular meeting to address several municipal items. The library received a grant from the Schmidt Foundation for materials and a gift from the Carnegie Corporation of New York to celebrate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
