This was followed by a joint session with the Board of Public Works to discuss operational efficiencies and departmental oversight. Key agenda items included a discussion on a recent resident notification regarding drinking water; officials clarified that the notice was issued due to procedural reporting errors rather than safety concerns, and they provided information on enhanced testing and sampling measures. Additionally, the board addressed inaccuracies in recent utility billing statements caused by a vendor printing error, outlining the steps being taken to correct the issues and improve future billing precision.
