The Commission addressed various business action items including the removal of tabled resolutions from the agenda, approval of a request for qualified proposals for sheriff's office body shop services, and a multi-year contract with the Missouri Department of Transportation for work zone overtime. Executive appointments were made to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Additionally, the Commission approved the senior tax credit program list, a rezoning request, and a series of stormwater grants. Finally, the Commission awarded a bid for the Graden Road Bridge replacement project.

The Planning and Zoning Commission discussed three main agenda items. The first involved a request to rezone 2.03 acres north of 2860 Highway P from agricultural to single-family estate to facilitate the construction of a single-family dwelling. The second agenda item focused on the rezoning of 5 acres at 22770 Highway 273 to allow for a minor subdivision to preserve a historic site, with the intent of transferring the property to a historical society. The third agenda item concerned a rezoning request for approximately 80 acres located at 13350 Ding Lane and a preliminary plat approval for the Dalling Farms major subdivision, which includes six lots for single-family construction and a private open space tract.

The Commission Session focused on several action items, including the approval of a federal state justice assistance grant application and a cost reimbursement agreement with the city of Riverside for police services at the Morton Amphitheater. The Commission also authorized the purchase of ten handheld radios and specialized discovery software. One item regarding a bid request for fleet body shop services was tabled due to missing documentation, and another contract item remained on the table as it was not available for public review.

The meeting included several key agenda items. A rezoning request for a 16.44-acre property on LER Lane was approved to allow for a minor subdivision into two lots. A special use permit for a five-year period was granted for an agritourism operation consisting of seasonal flower picking events on a 6.19-acre lot. Additionally, the commission reviewed a rezoning request for 21.6 acres at the corner of Brinkmire Road and Union Chapel Road for a planned residential district known as Hidden Oaks, which was redesigned to propose 50 single-family lots instead of townhomes.

The commission held a special meeting to address the management and implementation of projects funded under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Key business items included an amendment to a commission order to correct budget allocations related to courthouse renovations, specifically covering furniture, equipment, and accounting adjustments. Additionally, the commission approved an increase to the courthouse construction contract to account for necessary asbestos removal, miscellaneous painting, and updated signage to improve facility visibility.
