The strategic direction for the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board focuses on promoting prevention, recovery, and self-determination for individuals affected by mental illness, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key focus areas include Awareness & Engagement, Client Access & Experience, Client & Community Health Outcomes, Organizational Climate & Culture, and Administrative Oversight & Fiscal Stability. The overarching vision is to foster a community where individuals can achieve self-determination and enhance overall well-being.
