The St. Clair County Master Plan, updated in 2022, serves as a comprehensive roadmap to guide the county's future development and manage change. The plan aims to improve the quality of life for residents and attract new businesses by focusing on six key elements: Economy, Environment, Coastal Resiliency, Transportation and Mobility, Public Facilities and Services, and Land Use and Change Management. It is guided by principles of economic prosperity, sustainability, creating great places, fostering healthy communities, collaboration, and enhancing the quality of life. The overarching goal is to ensure St. Clair County is a resilient community that is prosperous, equitable, and capable of adapting to future challenges.
