The proposition includes the authorization to issue and sell bonds not exceeding $550,000,000 for designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, modernizing, acquiring, and equipping school facilities, purchasing necessary sites, and acquiring new school buses and security devices, with priority given to new elementary schools, a new junior high school, additions to the current high school, and a new administration and transportation facility. The authorization includes levying and pledging annual ad valorem taxes to pay the principal and interest on the bonds.
