Students were honored for earning the Illinois Seal of Biliteracy, and members of the Superintendent Student Advisory Council were recognized for their leadership. The board also received a comprehensive presentation regarding the school success and challenges at Whitehead Elementary, focusing on the community schools model, tier one instruction, and student attendance initiatives.
