The meeting included a presentation from PC Steve Long and PC Scott McCllum from the Canadian Ukrainian Logistics Division regarding their efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including body armor. The board expressed its support and gratitude for their work. The auditor for the town of Elmer presented the audit for the police services board, ensuring the expenditures were appropriate.

The meeting included a presentation regarding the Industrial Park Municipal class environmental study, followed by questions and comments from the council. A public participation meeting was commenced to receive input from the public with respect to the report authored by the manager of planning and development regarding a Red Line revision for phase three for draft plan of subdivision and application for zoning bylaw Amendment.

The council meeting included discussions and updates on various topics. The Elk Street project update was presented, addressing concerns about sidewalks, on-street parking, and bike lanes. The council also discussed the bulk waste collection program, including its costs and value to the community.

The meeting included discussions on the agenda, declaration of pecuniary interest, and minutes from the previous finance committee meeting. An overview of the operating budget was presented, covering topics such as vendor cost increases, insurance costs, and assessment challenges. Staff provided updates on various departments including General Government, Planning and Development, Parks and Recreation, Environmental Services, Water, Wastewater and Transportation. Council also discussed options for reducing the tax levy rate.
