Additionally, the board approved a resolution acknowledging the filing of annual reports and compliance with annual meeting requirements.

The board discussed several library initiatives, including the Cook the Book programs, the Dino Drawer prize experience, and the upcoming launch of the DPL Library Link project. Operational updates included progress on the new building with recent purchases, a successful building tour, and training on the new Discovery Layer catalog interface. The board reviewed and accepted the monthly financial and treasurer's reports and approved invoices. Additionally, discussions were held regarding future plans for the Communications Commission and the Downtown Project Management Team, specifically concerning the potential merger of the two groups and the addition of new staff and community representatives.
