The meeting included discussions on the Boys and Girls Club and the election of a new Co-Chair for the Local Management Board. The meeting featured proclamations for Red Ribbon Week and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Roadway improvements in Emerald Hills Estates were accepted into the county's maintenance system. The committee held a session where they approved the scheduled meeting dates for the upcoming year. Additionally, there was a discussion regarding public outreach efforts in collaboration with the NAACP to raise awareness about the availability of affordable driver's education programs within the county.

The Commission on the Environment meeting covered a wide range of topics, including a budget discussion, planning for the Riverfest, and the Bird Divert Window Film projects. The agenda also included planning for upcoming events such as the Oyster Festival and County Fair, the 2024 Annual Report update, Sustainability Awards, and the Sustainability Day Proclamation.
