Freedom Area School District Board Of School Directors' Meeting
The Board discussed various topics including student scheduling concerns, the Food Service report, and cyber/charter school enrollment data. The Superintendent presented on the implementation of a new Math 8 honors course. The Board also addressed the preliminary budget for the 2026-2027 school year, approved various financial payments, and reviewed the proposed Beaver County Career and Technology Center budget. Additional approvals included professional development, student travel, counselor summer work schedules, extended school year staff and tuition rates, and agreements with educational service providers. The meeting also covered personnel transfers, coaching appointments, and a review of revised policies related to school operations and booster groups. An executive session was held to discuss personnel and student discipline matters.
