Key discussions during the meeting included a presentation regarding a proposed Academic Standing Policy Change, which would implement academic warning immediately upon falling below a 2.0 GPA with 0.5 credits, applying to all students including Dual Credit. The Senate addressed student fee allocation, noting that the Student Senate votes on Activity Fees but only provides input on general Student Fees. Fundraising requests for the Welding Club (gun raffle) and Dental Club (online candy storefront) were approved. Senate apparel selection focused on approving the Port Authority Central Rain Jacket. Student concerns covered various campus maintenance issues such as a destroyed drinking fountain, faulty dryers, and reported misuse of facilities. Reports included updates on student fees, Wi-Fi reporting forms, upcoming social events, and ongoing committee work, including parking appeals and collaborations with external groups like NDSA.

This document outlines the Diesel Technology – Komatsu Advanced Career Training Program, a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree offered by North Dakota State College of Science. The program is a collaborative partnership with Komatsu dealerships and students, designed to develop technically competent service technicians for Komatsu construction equipment. It integrates classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory work, and supervised occupational experiences at sponsoring Komatsu dealerships.

The Student Senate meeting included discussions and approvals for the OTA Club and fundraiser requests from the Auto Tech Club and Diesel Club. New members were introduced. There was a review of the Service Learning Project and a rundown on the Pre-Assessment process. The senate also discussed the vacant Administrative Assistant position and tabling procedures. Updates were provided by the Executive Team, CAB, and Residential Life, along with reports from various NDSCS teams and committees. The meeting also included announcements about Homecoming Week and the upcoming NDSA event.
