This status update details the progress of the Living Our Values Task Force and related departments in developing and implementing a Multicultural Student Welcome (MSW) program at Ut Dallas. The program's development is structured around Research, Planning, Execution, and Assessment phases. The ultimate vision is for the MSW to become a permanent, signature program by Summer 2025, facilitating the transition for new multicultural and underrepresented minority students.

This strategic plan, compiled by The Black Student Body, proposes a series of initiatives for The University of Texas at Dallas to address racial injustice and enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion. Key pillars include increasing funding for diversity-focused offices and the Multicultural Center, updating campus facilities to centralize diversity resources, creating specialized multicultural student orientations and scholarships, expanding recruitment to lower-income and diverse communities, establishing an African & African Diaspora Studies Department, implementing mandatory intersectional equity training for faculty and staff, developing more comprehensive diversity metrics, ensuring demographic representation in university conduct teams and police, and addressing policies regarding controversial speakers on campus.

This document, a 'Call To Action,' outlines an initial list of recommendations for the University of Texas at Dallas leadership to enhance support for Black faculty and staff. Based on feedback from the Black Faculty and Staff Alliance, it addresses anti-Black racism through proposed racial justice efforts. The plan focuses on strategic pillars including training and professional development, equity and accountability, and robust recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies for Black faculty, staff, and students, with implementation spanning from 2020 to 2023.

This Phase 1 Project Report outlines a comprehensive Transit Oriented Development plan for the University of Texas at Dallas North Campus. The plan focuses on integrating a DART station to enhance campus life, foster sustainable growth, and stimulate economic development. Key elements include creating a mixed-use lifestyle village with residential, retail, office, and research facilities, emphasizing academic excellence, community engagement, and sustainable practices, with a long-term vision extending to 2030 and beyond.
