The meeting included a closed session to discuss personnel and legal matters. Public comments were shared regarding the installation of school bus cameras and student rights related to immigration laws. The Superintendent highlighted various end-of-year school programs and achievements, including high school graduation statistics and personnel appointments. First reading policy updates were presented. The Board approved a consent agenda covering personnel actions, financial reports, various educational plans, and policy updates. Additionally, the Board approved the transfer of former property deeds to Goochland County.

Following the closed session, the board took action to approve the termination of the Superintendent without cause, authorized contract negotiations for a new superintendent, and approved a stipend for the Interim School Board Clerk.
