Meriwether County Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting
The board addressed several operational and financial items, including the approval of a milling head attachment purchase, the Flint River MOU for the recreation department, and an EMS training agreement with RC Health Services. They reviewed a bridge management report and approved the reopening of Masengale Mill Road to through traffic. Additionally, the board authorized a film location agreement at the courthouse, reclassified road projects for the 2025 LIA and 2026 LRA, and approved the purchase of a cargo van for animal services. The meeting also included a decision to procure a boom mower for public works and the approval of a car show at Lake Meriwether, as well as initiating the process for setting a public hearing on the 2026 property tax millage rate.
