This Quality Enhancement Plan, titled "Thinking Critically, Growing Purposefully," is committed to enhancing students' critical thinking skills. It is designed to improve student learning and success through two main goals: increasing students' critical thinking skills within specific courses and overall, and providing professional development opportunities for faculty focused on teaching critical thinking. The plan will implement instructional changes in key gateway courses, integrate critical thinking into first-year experience courses, and offer new training for faculty and staff. The ultimate vision is to establish a robust critical thinking culture as a foundation for learning success.
